The Scientific Affairs Secretariat of the Faculty of Nobles for Science and Technology is the link between students and academic departments in general and is the department responsible for all academic affairs in the faculty.
The functions of the Scientific Affairs Secretariat are as follows:
1. Activate, adjust and upgrade academic regulations to control the quality of performance of academic programs.
2. Follow up the implementation of decisions and recommendations of the Scientific Council and all the committees emanating from it.
3. Providing statistical information on the scientific aspects of the college.
4. Coordination with the General Directorate of Admission to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to complete the procedures for admission and registration of candidates candidates annually to study the college for the degrees of bachelor and intermediate diploma.
5. Complete all procedures and arrangements related to admission and registration of students at the College and its various scientific programs.
6. Monitoring and keeping academic records of students.
7. Follow-up procedures for registration, withdrawal, re-admission and conversion of students.
8. Monitor examinations and ensure their procedures according to the rules of the college and save the results.
9. Save the results of the examinations and control the process of extracting and documenting the scientific certificates of graduates.
10 - Interest and review the scientific curricula for all programs and evaluated from one period to another in cooperation with specialized professors.
11. Nomination of faculty members qualified to teach and implement academic programs in accordance with the rules and principles of appointing faculty members.
12. Scientific Affairs is the body that receives the students since the announcement of the result of the Sudanese certificate and acceptance through the General Directorate of admission to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
13. The Secretariat supervises the preparation of halls for study and laboratories for practical training. It also prepares the examinations after receiving them from the professors and then supervises the introduction of grades and prepares the result according to the prevailing academic system which is the modified semester system, which takes into consideration the credit hours system.
Objectives of the Secretariat
Conducting the required academic movements such as resigning from the study, postponing and following up the students academically, implementing and following up the various processes according to the list of studies and tests for the college. - Conducting internal student transactions and responding to all inquiries related to academic affairs and preparing the required statistical reports.
